2012 Gambit

Crammer and Wright are fighting it out on 5.5 each in the Counter Gambit (Post) but Crammer has two games pending as opposed to one for Wright. Neil could also enter the fray though he has just lost a game to Wright.

2012 Counter Gambit

Fred himself cannot be caught in the Counter Gambit (Email) with a score of 6.5/8 – well played. Second place is still open and looks like it will be a close finish.

Wm Mason (BCCA) Championship 2011-12 Download

The 2011-12 BCCA William Mason Championship was the last to be played under Postal rules. All 55 games are now available via the download PAGE

There are some fantastic games here! Many of the competitors seemed to be in a determined mood as short games are few & far between. Even though there were more draws than usual, the games were fully fought out. So I recommend strongly these games are added to your database.

Email Section Winners Tournament

Ron Cooper is pleased to announce a Section Winners Tournament involving:- Greg Hughes, Derek Gallimore, John Etherington, Colin Glanville, Steve Clark and Trevor Brotherton starting on 31st March 2013.ย  We have no doubt this will be a close fought affair with some excellent chess being played.

Webserver Trio’s – Latest Results

Class 1 Trio No. 40 has been won by Walter Rattay with a perfect score of 4/4 – very well played, Walter has been promoted to Class 2 and awarded 2 BCCA Candidate Master Points.

New Member, Robert Bruce has won Class 1 Trio No. 43 with a score of 3/4, well played, Robert has also been promoted to Class 2 and receives 2 BCCA Candidate Master Points
