Starting in March the BCCA once again hold their Prestigious Postal and Webserver Medal Tournaments.

 

Final entry date is…….19th February 2022.

The annual Counties and District CC Championships started on 8th February, with the traditional three divisions, featuring many BCCA members.

There are three divisions – Ward Higgs (Div 1), Sinclair (Div 2) and Butler Thomas (Div 3).   In total, there are 176 participants.

The BCCA’s flagship event has reached the halfway point with completed games, with the leader being Matthew Bailey on 4.5 (with two remaining games) followed by Keith Kitson on 3.5 (with four remaining games).   The full results can be seen here: Cross Table (iccf.com)

A 37 board friendly match – Angleterre v France – started on 8th February with several BCCA members representing England.

Geoffrey Herbert is the latest BCCA member to be awarded the BCCA Candidate Master Title after accumulating the necessary 20 Candidate Master points – well played Geoffrey!
